Few days back, Yuan paste me a youtube link of someone covering a acoustic version of Rihanna - Umbrella. I wasn't expecting much while waiting for it to load. When the page loaded up, first thing that come into my mind was "wow pretty girl." and she has a beautiful voice too. Her name is Marie Digby. I then went into her youtube page and found out some of her original which I think they wasn't bad.

Crisis Core

Recently I'm addicted with the psp game FF7: Crisis Core. The story is happening right before FF7, which you will play as Zack and his story as the 1st Class SOLDIER of Shinra. In the game, events similar to Last Order: Final Fantasy VII take place, as well as Zack meeting Aerith, becoming best friends with Cloud who was just a lowly ranked Shinra Guard at that point of time. Zack also discover the truth about both Angeal and Genesis' orgins, the truth behind the mysterious "Project "G"", Sephiroth's hatred of the Shinra company beginning, and many other events. As for the battle system, it's a action-rpg, kinda like Kingdom Hearts style to me and I like it.

Below is the ending of Crisis Core where Zack dies. Zack (hands over Cloud his Buster Sword)tells Cloud to take all his pride and dreams for him and continue living. After the credits roll, Cloud rides on top of a train stating, "I am Cloud. SOLDIER. First Class." marking the beginning of the original game, Final Fantasy VII. The game ends with the words, "To be continued in Final Fantasy VII..."




Ok enough of the saddness, let's see the awesome battle between Angeal, Genesis and Sephiroth.

My mom was the manager of one of the outlet last time so I chosen this scope which I know have totally no relationship with my specialisation(Networking). Therefore, I can just approach her for questions.

Holy crap, days pass by so fast, I don't have enough time to do all the shits I needed and wanted to. I need to stop slacking.

SUCKnet!

Im bloody pissed with Singnet the moment when i FINALLY fixed my internet connection problem MYSELF. Ok, let me explain the whole story. One fine day, my MSN keep getting disconnected every few secconds, it can't stay online for more than 20 seconds. And I thought that could only be MSN application had the problem. So I went on to try downloading from a few websites, the transfer can't get through too. Oh btw, I was already using my laptop at home cause my pc is down.

I called Singnet and arranged for a line check. After several checks, he concluded that the line and my router have no problem at all. I doubted it and requested for a more detailed answer, so he just showed me all the diagnostic crap that seems familar with my daily modules in RP-.- Aight, at that point of time, I also can't point out any problems occuring with the line nor the router.

So obviously normal human being will think that it's the laptop being the rat shit. I believed so too. I soon went to RP's IT helpdesk for a check for my laptop. They see no shit in it becos I still can access rpnet successfully. And since Im there, I reformated my laptop as I had been wanting to do so too.

Losing packets days slowly add on and on. Almost one month already? Until today, where I suddenly remember I got a spare old router, and I gave it a try. TADA! IT FUCKING WORKS! Omfg, I so bloody disappointed at myself. I've tried everything, but not replacing a router until today. Just because the singnet people told me there's no problem with the router I totally ignore it. Im a DIT networking student, but look at this, what am I doing? I can't even solve this simple problem.

So god damn disappointed.

Russian Billiards

Came across this rare billiards with a weird player on youtube today. The game is called Russian Billiards (Moscow pyramid). Although the gameplay is still potting the balls, it still have several differences from the western pool (typical 8-ball and 9-ball).

The major difference of cos is the BALLS. 15 white balls and 1 yellow or red ball. Even the ball size is different, they are much bigger and heavier (my guess is becos they are russian =x). Aight, therefore the table are bigger yet pockets are smaller (something similar to snooker). But as for the rules of the game, Im still not very sure about it. I do believe that the objective of the game is to pot in the yellow or red cue ball and resume to pot a white ball. Also seen in somewhere that there is another game with this objective of potting the cue ball in snooker.

And this great player of Russian Billiards is Evgeny Stalev. His unique stroke really caught my attention. But too bad there ain't much video of him on the youtube.

Music Dreamer

Suddenly got the mood to 'revive' my blog. But still no promise that I will blog frequently.

OK! After I resetting all the blog stuffs and template. My mom and I decide to go Music Dreamer (爱琴海民歌餐厅). The singers and pianist there are not bad, but of cos can't be compared to 萧敬藤 and people. The slots I went for was around the 9pm slot of the day which are 盈盈(keyboard)/杰豪(male singer)/佩佩(female singer). I personally quite favour 杰豪's voice although he rejected my '世界唯一的你' and was waiting for the keyboardist (eh? isit like tt spell?) to sing but she didn't. Made me expecting some 自弹自唱 performance from her. And ya, when a girl plays piano, it's the prettiest moment.

Spoke with mom about the plan to learn piano, and she kinda agree. ^^ So maybe I should really start doing something about it before it's too late.
